Member Privacy Policy

We understand the importance of protecting the privacy of our affiliated members. As such, we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information consistent with state and federal laws. This privacy policy only applies to transactions made, and data gathered on the tsaspecialservices.com and fffcu.org web sites (the “Site”). The following sets forth our policies regarding our use and protection of your information.


Section I: Collection and Use of Information

During the course of business, and to provide you with information on products and services that may be of interest to you, we may collect personal information that may be used to contact you such as full name, postal address, phone number and email address. We may also collect financial information such as passwords, credit and debit card numbers and bank and other financial institution account numbers. We may use your financial information to check your qualifications, to bill you for products and services and to enable you to participate in discount, rebate and similar programs in which you may elect to participate.

On the Site, we place links to other web sites operated by other parties. Some of these other web sites contain our brand names, as well as that of our parent company, First Financial Credit Union. When you click on these links and visit these other web sites, regardless of whether or not they contain our brand names, please be aware that we do not control these other web sites or these web sites’ business practices, and that this privacy policy does not pertain to these other web sites. Consequently, these other web sites may collect different kinds of information about you and may use and disclose that information in ways different from those collected on the Site. These third parties may use your personal information to contact you and may share your personal information with others. This Site cannot be responsible or liable for any actions or omissions made by third parties.


Section II: Sharing Information with Third Parties

By making a purchase, or engaging in any other kind of activity that uses financial information on the Site, we may provide your financial information to our service providers and to such third parties we determine is necessary to process your transactions, as well as to your credit card issuer for their purposes. These third parties may include the credit card companies and banking institutions used to process the transaction. By purchasing, or making reservations for products or services of third parties (such as rental car and hotel bookings) offered on the Site, or by participating in programs offered on the Site that are administered by third parties and that require you to submit financial information in order to use them, we may also share your financial information with those third parties. Any of these various third parties are authorized to use your financial information in accordance with our contractual arrangements and joint marketing agreements with such third parties. Before entering into relationships with such entities, we require them to agree to safeguard our consumers’ information and to comply with all applicable privacy laws.

There are several types of third parties with whom we may share your information. We may disclose non-public personal information about you to the following types of affiliated and non-affiliated third parties:

A) Financial service providers, such as financial and banking institutions, insurance companies, insurance agents and brokers; and;
B) Non financial companies, such as retailers, direct marketers, airlines, and publishers.

We may also disclose non-public personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties not described above, as permitted by law.

Section IV: Security of Information

We restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Our employees access information about you when needed to administer your accounts, to provide requested services, or in response to a legally valid outside request or order (such as a subpoena). Our employees may also access information to exercise our rights under the law or pursuant to any agreement with you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public personal information. We also continually update and assess our systems to improve our technology for protecting information. The Site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We encrypt all of your personal and financial information as it travels over the Internet and we store your information on our servers in encrypted form.


Section V: Accuracy of Information

We strive to ensure that our records contain accurate information about you. If you see any inaccuracies in your invoices, receipts or statements, please call us toll-free at (800) 537-8491 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Pacific Time, on any business day. We will promptly investigate and make any necessary changes to update your records.


Section VI: Changes to Our Policy

We reserve the right to revise our policy as our business needs change or as the law requires. Each time you visit the Site or provide us with information, by doing so, you are accepting the practices described in this privacy policy at that time.


Section VII: Your Right to Opt Out of Information Sharing with Certain Non-affiliated Third Parties

When you register to create an account with the Site or complete a purchase transaction on the Site, we will provide you an opportunity to set certain email preferences at the place where you register or make the purchase. The link will take you to a place where you can change registration information, including your email preferences. After we collect personal information that you submit in conjunction with purchasing or reserving products or services, electing to receive communications or other programs offered or sponsored by third parties on the Site, or registering with the Site, we may use such information to send you marketing emails. However, if we do so, we will provide a link that you can click on to opt out of receiving subsequent marketing emails sent by us generated from the same such information.
